
Jayden Kenny - Artistic Director
Jayden has recently completed a Bachelor of Creative Arts at the University of Melbourne, majoring in Theatre Studies. Jayden has had experience as a performer and director during his time at university, the Union House Theatre’s ‘Liveclips’ being a highlight. He was employed by Eltham College of Education to direct a senior school production of ‘Macbeth’ in 2007. Jayden has been writing, recording and performing music for the last three years with rock and roll band The Thod. They have played numerous gigs in and around the city and the bands home town Eltham.
Jess Maguire - Production Manager / Visual Designer
Jess has recently completed a Bachelor of Creative Arts at the University of Melbourne, majoring in Visual Media. During her time at Melbourne University Jess has participated as a stage manager in numerous theatre shows run by Union House Theatre, including ‘Fire Raisers’, ‘Rhinoceros’ and ‘Liveclips’. She has also worked professionally as a stage manager for Melbourne Workers Theatre, most notably on ‘The Call’, which was performed in the Fairfax Studio at the Arts Centre. Jess has also worked for the ‘Meredith’ and ‘Golden Plains’ music festivals.
Sam Batty - Animator / Website Designer
Sam has recently finished a Bachelor of Arts (Animation and Interactive Media) at RMIT University. In 2003 Sam was awarded Best 2D Animation at the Digeisus Multimedia Festival. More recently he co-founded Scarnon Studios, a Melbourne based computer game developer, in which he is currently director of a 2D platform game entitled ‘Diamo: The Game’. Sam has also worked professionally as a website designer for Melbourne and RMIT Universities and as a freelance animation tutor. In 2009 Sam presented a lecture on animation to Multimedia students at Eltham College of Education.
Adam Jackson - Choreographer
Adam is a performer and choreographer who has been creating works for festivals and by commission for the last five years. With his current physical theatre company, 'The Lost Rung', he has performed at both the Melbourne and Adelaide Fringe Festivals, and has just finished working with Kage Physical Theatre in their 'Kage Coach' program. Past works include choreographing Procession for the 2006 Dancehouse season of the Joker, as well as many performances dancing as a company member of Melbourne Dance Theatre. His most recent performances include a piece at the 'Immerse' industry night at the Forum theatre as well as a season performing at Chapel off Chapel with a piece he created with Sarah Fitzgerald for the Short Sweet + Dance program, where he received an encouragement award for a classical dancer.
